Junior Cheer Camp

Leigh Cheer fans — we’ve got an important update to share with you! After lots of thought and planning, we want you to know that we will not be hosting Junior Cheer Camp during the 2025 football season. We know how much this tradition means to our community, to our young future Longhorns, and to our team, and we want to thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support.

But don’t pack away your poms just yet! Our cheerleaders and coaches are already working behind the scenes to create a new opportunity to experience the magic of Junior Cheer. Right now, we’re exploring the possibility of hosting camp during the basketball season. This would give our future cheerleaders the chance to learn cheers, dances, and sideline fun in a whole new setting — and of course, show off their spirit at a live game.

While we don’t have all the details ready yet, we promise to share them as soon as everything is finalized. Be sure to keep an eye on our website and communications, because when the time comes, we’ll be spreading the news loud and proud.

Thank you again for supporting Leigh Cheer and for helping us keep the Longhorn spirit alive. We can’t wait to welcome back our Junior Cheerleaders soon — whether it’s under the Friday night lights or center court at basketball season!
